The Churchill painting was a picturesque scene of a medieval village, said to be somewhere in the south of France.<br /><br />Now I have no problem with the quality of the work, but they kept saying that the last Churchill sold at open auction fetched £1.8 million!! Perhaps any famous politician or royal who put paint on canvas could become noted as a part-time artist.<br /><br />Yet if, as you say, Churchill submitted paintings to exhibitions _using a pseudonym_ and had some of his work accepted anyhow, it suggests it was not just his name that counted.Helshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02849907428208235392noreply@blogger.com
